Access Control Attendance System
Access control attendance system can be divided into the following three categories according to the way of access identification:
1、Password identificationPassword identification: through the test input password is correct to identify access rights. These products are divided into two categories: one is the ordinary type, one is the chaotic keyboard type (the numbers on the keyboard is not fixed away, not regular automatic change).
*The normal type:
Advantages: easy to operate, no need to carry cards; low cost
Disadvantages: can only accommodate three groups of passwords at the same time, easy to leak, security is very poor; no access records, only one-way control.
*Random keypad type (the numbers on the keypad are not fixed and change automatically from time to time):
Advantages: easy to operate, no need to carry cards, slightly higher security factor
Disadvantages: easy to leak the password, security is still not high; no access records; only one-way control. High cost.
2、Card recognitionCard identification: through reading the card or reading the card plus the password to identify access rights, according to the type of card and divided into:
* magnetic card
Advantages: lower cost: one person a card (+ password), security in general, can be linked to the microcomputer, have opened the door record disadvantages: card, equipment wear and tear, short life, card easy to copy: not easy two-way control. Card information is easily lost due to external magnetic fields, making the card invalid.
*RF card
Advantages: card, equipment without contact, open the door easily and safely, long life, theoretical data at least ten years; high security, can be linked to a microcomputer, there are open records, can achieve two-way control. The card is difficult to be copied.
Disadvantages:High cost
3、Biometric identificationBiometric identification
Through the inspection of personnel biometric characteristics and other ways to identify access. There are fingerprint type, iris type, facial recognition type.
